an Award-Winning TV show, Made in my garage

I spent 2022 creating an amazing, award-winning show with my best friends! Our production is as home-made as it gets, but achieves the professionalism of all your favorite comedy TV shows. The festival-season reception for our show has been wonderful so far. We had our premiere screening at the prestigious TCL Chinese Theater, and have won several awards and accolades already! The show has yet to be released to the public, but our preview clips have already have garnered over 170,000 views on social media. There is much, much more to come, and we can’t wait to share more with you as things continue!

Homemade TV: We built a space base

We started with my cluttered garage, full of junk, a car, and whatever belongings didn’t fit into our bedrooms.

We wanted to build a small space base that had two main rooms: A laboratory, and a modular, sci-fi-looking common room.

First, we built the lab

This was the very first set I ever built, and I’m quite proud of how it turned out! I worked tirelessly with Production Designer Marie Marchant. We made props & set dressings from things you can buy from Amazon, Walmart, and Home Depot. We finished by renting our stunning hero props from LCW Props!

We filmed on our Lab set for only 3 days, and then immediately had to tear it down to build our next set. It was heartbreaking, but also exhilarating to keep marching forward for our demanding production!

We then rebuilt the garage as a sci-fi modular common room
