Music Theory Coaching & Tutoring
Everyone loves music. Not everyone loves music theory. It’s scary. It’s the nuts & bolts, the technical, the mathematical side of music. But it’s very important. It teaches you how to read sheet music, how to write, how to harmonize, how to play instruments, and how to speak to musicians and experts. Not everyone loves music theory, but I do. I love it, and I love teaching it. I teach music theory in fun, original ways that make all the confusing numbers and code-words feel easy! Any musician or music student who has gotten by on their ears and intuition alone will tell you: You can do it, but it keeps getting harder the longer you avoid learning the basics of music theory. I believe that we all understand music theory implicitly; it’s in our nature, and we’ve been listening to music our whole lives.
